Ravens Acquire Center Cam Jurgens from Eagles

The Baltimore Ravens have traded for Philadelphia Eagles center Cam Jurgens, addressing a critical need at the center position. The trade, completed on Wednesday, involves Baltimore sending a 2027 fifth-round pick and a 2028 second-round selection to the Eagles. In return, the Ravens receive Jurgens and a 2027 seventh-round pick.

Jurgens, who is under contract through the 2029 season, was moved to left guard earlier this season due to injuries on the Eagles’ line, but struggled there. After self-reporting symptoms of concussion, he is now in concussion protocol.

Ravens General Manager Eric DeCosta expressed high regard for Jurgens, stating that he has been on their radar since the draft process and will quickly contribute to the team. On the other side, Eagles General Manager Howie Roseman described the trade as beneficial for both teams. The Eagles believe the trade offers them the opportunity to enhance their team through additional draft selections and financial flexibility.
